Our commitment:

We at Global Hebrew English Translators are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality by using the latest technologies in every project. We tailor our services to meet our clients’ needs, considering cultural references, the nature of the documents, and the market. We specialize in translating business documents and contracts.

Native Hebrew speaking:

We employ native Israelis who understand and speak Hebrew fluently, including dialects and slang. Hebrew is a complex language, and translation is not always straightforward. For example, plurals and singulars in Hebrew are spelled differently from their English equivalents. Additionally, punctuation marks like commas or semicolons are placed differently, which can change the meaning of a sentence in official documents. Hebrew also lacks vowels, relying on dots and dashes that only experienced human translators can properly interpret.

As a result, translating into Hebrew requires significant time, skill, and expertise. Professional, native Israeli translators with a deep knowledge of Hebrew grammar ensure that translated content is accurate, sounds natural, and conveys the intended message. Global Hebrew–English Sworn Translators, South Africa are dedicated to ensuring that your translations are precise and of the highest quality.

APOSTILLE OF SWORN TRANSLATION

Apostille of sworn translated of legal document in South Africa

If you require to use legal documents outside of South Africa, you’ll have to get them apostilled in order to ensure their validity. Israel is a signatory to the only Certificates of Authentication  (Convention de La Haye du 5 Octobre 1961).

Any document issued in South Africa has to be apostilled or legalised when it is going to be used in a foreign country. South African diplomatic or consular representatives abroad are not permitted to issue Apostille Certificates, only Certificates of Authentication.
Apostils can be done at the High Court of South Africa, DIRCO or Israel consulate in Pretoria.

Hebrew translation tips

‘Machine’ Translation for professional document

Hebrew is a complex language, and machine translators like Google Translate or ChatGPT cannot accurately translate between English and Hebrew. These tools may give you a general sense of the text, but the result is often far from precise. Words might be synonymous but used in the wrong context. Sentences may be distorted and convey the wrong meaning. Such translations will require thorough revision and correction by a professional Hebrew-English translator before being signed by a South African High Court Sworn Translator.
